Electrical Engineer Assistant">

The Electrical Engineer Assistant plays a key role in the execution and management of facilities management services, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment. Key responsibilities include assisting engineers and managers in overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling and coordination work, as well as managing day-to-day works for electrical systems.

">Responsibilities:">
  • To assist engineers or managers in overseeing preventive & corrective maintenance scheduling & coordination work.
  • To manage Maintenance Agent or Specialist Contractor day-to-day works for electrical systems such as High Tension Panels, LV Main Switchboard, Emergency Main Switchboards, Transformers, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), Generators, all Sub-boards/Emergency Sub-boards and etc.
  • To ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to hospital service operations.
  • To oversee and coordinate improvements projects to the hospital services and facilities as well as upgrading of systems and equipment components.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by HOD.
">Requirements:">
  • Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1-4 years of experience or ITE graduate with at least 5 years' Electrical system experience.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience or ITE graduate with at least 8 years' Electrical system experience for a senior position.
  • Familiar with design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems & equipment.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, including oral and written communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience in troubleshooting, estimates, and audit, as well as good knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
