We are seeking a highly skilled software development expert to join our diagnostics research team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will work as a member of the device prototyping team, collaborating with both business and research teams from Japan.
This includes working on prototyping projects for automated small medical devices or diagnostic platforms for molecular or immunological tests.
Automated devices include systems for pneumatic & fluidic control, heater/cooler, optical sensors, microcontroller programming, camera system, and GUI-controlled App.
The ideal candidate must be compliant with all laboratory safety standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing image processing pipelines for colorimetric and fluorescent images.
- Building Windows or smart device applications using basic programming skills.
- Collaborating with team members to design and fabricate microfluidic devices.
- Fabrication, optimization, and validation of proof-of-concept prototypes.
Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in biomedical engineering, software engineering, or related disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-driven individual with organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with excellent collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with lab operation and lab safety matters.
