Security Governance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Security Governance Specialist to join our organization in Asia-Pacific (APAC) and contribute to the development of our security governance program.

  • We are seeking a professional who can conduct risk assessments and control evaluations against regional and global regulatory requirements, maintaining awareness of APAC regulatory changes and engaging with stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will provide input for annual certification audits, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and offer SME guidance on security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • They will also act as a key point of contact for security-related queries in the APAC region and support the ongoing evolution of our security governance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is crucial in this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in security governance, risk management, and compliance, as well as familiarity with cloud technology from working in cloud-native or hybrid environments.
  • Strong attention to detail is required for accurate information informing decisions.

Requirements:

  • Location: Singapore. Ability to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship is essential.
  • A passion for Information Security is necessary for this role.
  • The successful candidate will have working knowledge of industry security standards, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and understanding of the APAC financial services regulatory landscape and requirements.
  • Experience with GRC tools, audit management software, and security assessment tools is also required.
