We are seeking a skilled Robotics and Automation Engineer to join our team in support of technology development and industrialization. This is an advanced engineering role that impacts the long-term growth and technology transformation of the business, efficiency of our operations, and critical business processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy process automation systems and digital solutions. They will lead the development and testing of automation applications in the areas of repair processes and engine assembly/disassembly processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business units to identify opportunities for process automation and digital innovation
  • Leading the development and testing of automation applications
  • Supporting early 'New Product Introduction' activities including Passport Gate Review for all automation solutions
  • Working collaboratively with technology focal and process experts within the organization and supply base

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and automation, excellent project management skills, and the ability to innovate and drive change. They will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, System Design, or related discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations/engineering, systems engineering, controls engineering, and/or automation engineering
  • Proficiency in Industrial robots and programming PLCs
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and Matlab development in Linux environments (desired)
