Lead Observability Strategist for Asia

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our observability strategy in Asia, driving growth and revenue through effective sales and marketing efforts.

In this role, you will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, build and manage a high-performing sales team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive growth and revenue in Asia.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, focusing on sales performance, pipeline generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, channels, professional services, product, legal, marketing, and engineering, to drive business results.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on observability practices and contribute to the development of industry-leading solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive business growth and revenue in Asia.
  2. Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. Leverage CRM systems extensively to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and analyze customer interactions.
  4. Mentor sales team members to improve their skills and expertise in selling enterprise SaaS solutions and developing go-to-market strategies.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a seamless customer experience, ensuring timely issue resolution and consistent communication.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and leading specialist sales teams, with a proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
  • Deep knowledge of the monitoring space, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong business partnerships both within and outside the organization.
  • Skillful in business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards goals, identifying roadblocks, and developing solutions.
