Job Title: Corporate General Insurance Specialist

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and internal teams. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients in Mumbai & North Region, identifying client needs, offering tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

  • Key responsibilities include client acquisition and management by building long-term relationships, conducting needs analysis, and developing strategies for cross-selling and upselling insurance products.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for policy customization and renewal, preparing customized insurance proposals, managing policy issuance, renewals, and cancellations, as well as maintaining timely follow-ups on renewals to uphold retention rates.
  • Furthermore, they will assess clients' risk profiles and provide professional recommendations, liaising with underwriters to secure the best terms and rates.

Staying updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes is crucial, along with ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines and company policies in all client dealings.

Collaboration with internal teams such as claims, underwriting, and customer service is essential to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate general insurance or related roles.

Possessing an IRDAI certification would be considered an advantage. Key skills and competencies for this role include a strong knowledge of corporate general insurance products and policies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
