Corporate General Insurance Specialist

As a Corporate General Insurance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and expand our portfolio of corporate clients in Mumbai & North Region. You will be tasked with identifying client needs, offering tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will provide expert advice on general insurance products such as health, motor, property, liability, and marine insurance.Your key responsibilities will include client acquisition and management by building long-term relationships, conducting needs analysis, and developing strategies for cross-selling and upselling insurance products. You will also be responsible for policy customization and renewal, preparing customized insurance proposals, managing policy issuance, renewals, and cancellations, as well as maintaining timely follow-ups on renewals to uphold retention rates.Furthermore, you will assess clients" risk profiles and provide professional recommendations, liaising with underwriters to secure the best terms and rates. Staying updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes will be crucial, along with ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines and company policies in all client dealings.Collaboration with internal teams such as claims, underwriting, and customer service will be essential to ensure smooth operations. You will also be required to prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports.Key skills and competencies for this role include a strong knowledge of corporate general insurance products and policies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate general insurance or related roles.
