High Performance Network Architect

A Network Infrastructure Specialist oversees the entire network infrastructure, ensuring high uptime and reliability. This role requires expertise in network hardware and circuit support.
The Specialist will participate in production network strategies, experience with content delivery networks, monitoring capacity, and peering traffic.
Key responsibilities include working on multiple vendor servers, various software and hardware issues, collaborating with TAC vendors to fix hardware problems, handling traffic queries from ISP/partners, and driving first-level escalations reported by the team.
The Specialist will also be responsible for preparing technical and process MOPs, supporting teams in handling network and traffic peering, driving data insights, and reporting them as required.
This is a 24/7 support role that may require weekend work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Build productive internal and external working relationships.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Understanding of network and traffic peering, fiber-optic technology, and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with service providers worldwide.
- Knowledgeable about different network protocols like OSPF/ISIS and BGP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment.
- Network certifications, such as CCNP/JNCIP.
- Expertise in optical technology is a plus.
