We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our network operations and ensure seamless connectivity for our trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance network infrastructure in colocation environments for low-latency exchange connectivity.
  • Collaborate with trading, systems, and development teams to meet demanding requirements of algorithmic trading and maintain secure exchange connectivity.
  • Develop scalable network architectures to accommodate growing business needs.
  • Optimize local, wide-area, and data center networks for minimal packet loss, latency, throughput, and jitter.
  • Oversee daily network operations, ensuring 24/7 network availability and minimal downtime.
  • Manage network-related hardware such as switches, routers, and firewalls across multiple data centers.
  • Lead incident response for network issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain tools for real-time network monitoring and performance analysis.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve network efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices for securing sensitive trading data and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with trading, development, and systems teams to align network configurations with trading strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and incident resolutions.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with colocation data centers and exchange connectivity.
  • Proven experience in managing high-performance network infrastructure, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Multicast).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Juniper).
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking solutions and hybrid architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with automation tools for network configuration (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams.
  • Leadership experience in managing and mentoring a network operations team.
