Executive Engineer – Mechanical (Building Services)

We are seeking a high-performing professional to join our team as an Executive Engineer – Mechanical (Building Services). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing initial engineering tasks on mechanical services detailed design for building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial engineering tasks on mechanical services detailed design for building projects under the supervision of Senior Engineers.
  • Prepare submissions to authorities for approval of design.
  • Attend project meetings with clients, project managers, and consultants from other disciplines.
  • Attend site project meetings and site inspections, responding to technical queries.
  • Assist in coordinating quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and design consultants.
  • Handle client liaison and reporting.
  • Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore (advantageous).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in design and supervision of building service projects (5 years' experience and/or Certified Professional Engineers considered for senior positions).
  • Experience in leading roles for design and design management of residential, commercial, institutional, or hotel projects (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations, and working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
  • Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling, and Navisworks.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Able to work independently and exercise initiative.
  • Excellent delegation and communication skills, enlisting the help of others to meet objectives.
  • A team, client, and delivery-focused working style.
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
