Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

A seasoned finance leader is required to drive financial strategy and sustainable growth in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in cross-border finance, corporate accounting, and tax structuring, as well as proven leadership in scaling startup financial operations from Series A through Series C.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Execution: Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and execution to support business growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape financial models, forecasts, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Fundraising Initiatives: Drive fundraising initiatives, including equity, debt financing, and investor relations across Series A–C growth stages.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and audit functions in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and international frameworks (IFRS/USGAAP).
  • Cash Flow Management: Ensure robust cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations.
  • Governance and Risk: Strengthen governance through sound risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead financial due diligence, valuations, and structuring for M&A transactions.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor assistance, legal and tax structuring, refinancing, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Group Reporting: Standardize accounting policies and consolidate group reporting across multiple geographies.
  • Finance Process Optimization: Establish scalable finance processes, systems, and controls tailored for high-growth startups.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Implement financial planning & analysis (FP&A) frameworks that align with investor expectations from Series A to Series C.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team capable of supporting rapid scale.
  • Financial Systems: Optimize financial systems, business intelligence tools, and performance dashboards.
