Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis: Track global crude oil markets, including price movements, premiums, spreads, and key market indicators to identify trading opportunities.
- Supply and Demand Analysis: Assess factors affecting crude oil prices and premiums, including production levels, geopolitical risks, market speculation, and transportation logistics.
- Market Research: Analyze and project global and regional crude oil demand based on economic growth, transportation trends, industrial usage, and government policies.
- Supply Chain Analysis: Evaluate supply aspects, including production capacity, strategic reserves, and OPEC decisions.
- Trading Strategies: Provide insights into how supply-demand interactions influence crude oil pricing and trading strategies.
- Reporting and Data Management: Compile daily, weekly, and monthly market reports, maintain and update databases, and develop analytical models and tools to aid trading decisions.
- Education: Possess a degree in Business Analyst, International Trading, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in trading, market analysis, or a related role within the oil and gas industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in trading platforms, data analysis tools, MS office, Word, and Excel.
- Language: Effectively bilingual in Chinese & English due to reporting to China Head Office & colleagues.
