Marine Crane Service Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Marine Crane Service Engineer to fill a critical role in our organization.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out field service attendances to troubleshoot and repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics, and Davits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience sailing as Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.
  • Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage, and in Ship Yards.
  • Able to write technical reports and communicate with owners' representatives.
