Job Title: Tea Connoisseur

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tea varieties, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles. They will work closely with our team to develop new tea offerings, experiment with innovative flavors, and ensure exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of tea varieties, including their origins, flavor profiles, and production methods.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create new tea blends, experimenting with different flavor combinations and brewing techniques.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of tea samples, providing detailed feedback on flavor, aroma, and overall quality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement in-store promotions, workshops, and tastings that showcase our unique tea offerings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending trade shows, conferences, and workshops to expand knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as tea sommelier, barista, or food scientist.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tea knowledge, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think creatively, analyze problems, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
