Job Title: Cyber Security Threat Hunter

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cyber Security Threat Hunter to join our team. As a Cyber Security Threat Hunter, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security threats to our organization.

Description:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices, including threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. You will work closely with our IT teams to implement and maintain effective security controls and procedures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To identify and analyze potential security threats to our organization, using various tools and techniques.
  • To develop and implement effective security controls and procedures to mitigate identified threats.
  • To collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective security measures.
  • To conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • To develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cyber security best practices.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SOC or CERT/CIRT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR operations and defence solutions at host-based or network-based layers.
  • Exposure to MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, MAS Cyber Hygiene Notice and Cybersecurity Code of Practice.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex security incidents and identify root causes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present findings to management and other stakeholders.
