Environmental Sustainability Strategist

The role of Environmental Sustainability Strategist is pivotal in shaping and implementing an organisation's environmental sustainability strategy.

This position involves developing annual sustainability plans, ensuring accuracy and transparency in ESG reporting, promoting sustainable practices through educational outreach and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives, aligning with the organisation's mission and long-term goals.
  • Prepare and manage Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of environmental education programmes, including promoting sustainability awareness through advocacy and public engagement.
  • Foster effective relationships with stakeholders across sectors, facilitating collaboration to strengthen environmental impact and support joint initiatives.

Requirements:

A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.

Proven experience in environmental sustainability, with a track record of successfully managing sustainability projects and initiatives.

Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and industry best practices.
