Job Description:

As an Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the workplace remains safe and environmentally compliant. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires you to oversee safety protocols, monitor environmental regulations, and enforce compliance with workplace safety standards and environmental practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a safety officer or environmental control officer role, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices. Proficiency in risk assessment and the implementation of safety management systems. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to enforce safety protocols and maintain a culture of safety.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented and capable of identifying safety and environmental hazards quickly. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to suggest and implement corrective actions. A team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable workplace.
