Air Freight Operations Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Air Freight Operations Specialist. As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of air freight operations, from preparing draft AWBs to managing email correspondence with customers and overseas agents.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Draft AWBs: Create accurate and complete AWB documents for review by customers, forwarders, and overseas agents.
  • Coordinate Permits: Work with authorities to draft permits prior to shipment arrival, ensuring timely clearance.
  • Customer Liaison: Maintain regular communication with customers and overseas agents, addressing their queries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Cargo Handling: Confirm cargo details, including pieces, weight, and dimensions, to ensure accurate entry into the system and print original AWB copies upon arrival at the warehouse.
  • Document Submission: Handle the submission of FWB, FHL, permits, and other required documents, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Billing and Email Management: Manage billing and related emails for air export operations, providing excellent customer service.
  • Cargo Inspection: Visit the warehouse to inspect cargo, verifying its condition and accuracy.
  • Customs Clearance: Pre-declare customs permits and submit shipment details through the CCN system to facilitate seamless clearance.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Possess GCE O Level or equivalent qualification.
  • No Experience Required: Individuals without experience are encouraged to apply, as training is provided to equip them with the necessary skills.
