Our team is seeking highly skilled software professionals to take on advanced projects in the field of embedded systems.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software solutions, ensuring code reusability across different projects.

They will work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality software solutions within specified timelines.

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for Net Zero products
  • Collaborate with a small team to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Identify and implement the best embedded Linux distribution
  • Lead the development of a Linux-based stack for an EV charger
  • Develop a Home EMS system based on a common Linux OS stack
  • Ensure software solutions are scalable and adaptable for global markets
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in embedded software development, preferably in a Linux environment
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with embedded Linux distributions and familiarity with Linux kernel development
  • Knowledge of IEC15118 standards and experience with EV charging systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with modern ARM SoCs and low-level device driver knowledge in embedded system designs
  • Experience with Home Assistant or similar open-source home automation platforms
  • Familiarity with modern cybersecurity requirements and relevant design techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred skills include expertise in energy management, wireless technologies, data communication protocols, edge AI implementations & tools, and modern cybersecurity requirements.
