About the Role:

The successful Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring customer accounts to ensure prompt payment
  • Reconciling payments received with outstanding invoices
  • Processing sales returns weekly
  • Debt Collection: Implementing a systematic and proactive approach to debt collection
  • Contacting customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to follow up on overdue payments
  • Dispute Resolution: Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with relevant departments to address and resolve customer issues impacting payment
  • Preparing regular reports on the status of accounts receivable and outstanding debts

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Proven experience in credit control or a related finance role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
