We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Shilla Travel Retail Pte. Ltd. in Changi Airport. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling and collection of monies in different currencies or modes of payment.
  • Adhere to airport Liquids Aerosols Gels (LAG) regulations.
  • Reduce customer waiting time to a minimum.
  • Advise customers on GST and refund/exchange policy.
  • Conduct daily cash balancing and cash drops.
  • Update conversion rates as necessary.
  • Achieve high productivity levels in cashiering.
Customer Service:
  • Provide a unique customer experience as a true Shilla ambassador.
  • Ensure that Shilla's service steps are used in every customer interaction.
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance and project a professional image at all times.
Store Maintenance:
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment and implement daily housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain stock levels of inventory related to cashiering.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of cashiering experience in retail/hyper mart environment.
  • Conversant in English is a must; one other language speaking is advantageous.
  • Great passion for perfumes and cosmetics and a willingness to achieve sales goals.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service mentality and a proactive attitude.
  • Dependable and a good team player.
  • Able to perform retail operational hours, including weekends and public holidays.
