Job Title: Design Educator
DescriptionWe are seeking experienced educators and creative professionals to join our academic community as part-time Design Educators. The role combines teaching of design history and theory with hands-on creative practice, guiding students through the ideation and prototyping process.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging teaching in areas such as visual communication, design principles, and creative practice.
- Facilitate lectures, workshops, critiques, and tutorials, guiding students from initial concept to final presentation.
- Introduce key developments and practices in art and design, making them accessible to foundation-level learners.
- Provide structured feedback and mentoring to students in both group and individual settings.
- Contribute to the development of assessment tasks and evaluate student work in line with academic policies.
- Support students' confidence, creative thinking, and visual literacy in an international learning environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Teaching experience at pre-university, foundation, or undergraduate level is preferred.
- Professional portfolio showcasing creative practice.
- Familiarity with traditional studio methods and digital tools.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills, with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
