Job Description:

This role involves providing technical expertise and applications support to regional accounts, driving sales growth for downstream chromatography technologies and resins. The successful candidate will conduct pre- and post-sale product demonstrations, perform technical troubleshooting, and serve as a backup for basic upstream and single-use knowledge.

The role requires close collaboration with the Upstream FAS and regional sales teams to drive growth in Upstream and Single Use technologies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support regional pre- and post-sales activities including technical and application review of tenders and technical follow-up for QAA's.
  2. Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on specialist subjects, products, and their applications.
  3. Develop and execute product training plans for existing customers, sales partners, and channel partners.
  4. Respond to regional customer technical inquiries and feedback from customers and/or sales staff.
  5. Identify opportunities to convert technical inquiries into new or developed sales possibilities.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field is required. Minimum 5 years in project engineering or management, preferably in a cGMP manufacturing or engineering setting.

Strong understanding of bioprocess manufacturing, protein sciences, chromatography, filtration, and resin technologies is essential. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.

Ability to engage with customers, global teams, and cross-functional colleagues, team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset, strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements, capable of multitasking and managing priorities independently with minimal supervision in dynamic environments.

Travel:

Willingness to travel 50% or more within the specified geographic region (SEA/ASEAN) with occasional overnight stays for sales meetings and tradeshows.

Nice to Have:

Manufacturing experience in Pharmaceuticals, automation knowledge, e.g., Unicorn and DeltaV control systems, upstream knowledge for bioreactors and cell culture media.
