Job Title: M&E Coordination Professional

About the Role:

The M&E Coordination Professional is a crucial team member responsible for ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works at site.

This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple stakeholders and meet project timelines.

  • Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule.
  • Liaise with design consultants on design intent and coordinate with in-house architectural & structural teams to minimize discrepancies.
  • Check and prepare material samples with shop drawing submissions, attend and facilitate M&E coordination meetings, and prepare M&E coordination drawings.
  • Assess, prepare, and submit progress claims for project consultants and subcontractors, and coordinate installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized University.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in coordinating M&E works with different trades and other stakeholders for large-scale building projects with A1 main contractors.
  • Understanding of BIM concept and ability to supervise and push for M&E works to be completed timely with relevant stakeholders.
  • Able to manage and solve complex problems at site, understand all essential codes of practices, and relevant authority requirements for submissions of documents and inspections.
