Job Title: Transformative Care Specialist

The Occupational Therapist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of students with Mild Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Reporting to the Head of Department (Allied Professionals), this therapist will be responsible for providing direct occupational therapy services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess individual therapy needs of students using standardized assessment tools and school in-house assessment forms.
  • Formulate and implement individual/group therapy programs for students.
  • Involve in the school's process of Individual Education Plan (IEP) for students under caseload.
  • Provide intervention for students on a one-to-one basis, group, class or special setting based on the needs of the students.
  • Evaluate and document students' therapy needs and progress regularly, and review the effectiveness of the intervention.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognized by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Full Registration with AHPC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, responsible, and show high-level initiative.
