Job Title: Regional Legal Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead our regional legal team in Asia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the regional legal team, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with our values.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership and business units on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, proactively managing legal risks.
  • Oversee litigation and disputes, regulatory engagements, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with global legal teams to implement our global objectives locally and drive cross-border projects.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree with 9+ years of legal experience, including leadership roles and strategic initiatives.
  • Active license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multinational corporations or the technology sector.
  • Strong business acumen with pragmatic legal advice skills.
