Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process cost entries and approvals in the system for air freight, logistics, and trucking services.
  • Accurately prepare and issue customer invoices on schedule.
  • Compile and distribute monthly billing summary reports to clients.
  • Ensure accuracy in billing to prevent discrepancies.
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve billing disputes promptly.
  • Execute month-end closing activities for timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to validate financial data.
  • Track and ensure invoicing completion by third-party vendors and part-time staff.
Requirements:
  • Billings and collections experience.
  • Proficiency in billing and invoicing software.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and transportation management systems.
