About the Role:

The position of Senior Civil Infrastructure Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating civil engineering works for local projects. This involves working closely with contractors and project teams to ensure successful project execution. A strong understanding of statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practices is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed designs for infrastructure projects including buildings and other structures
  • Coordinate with contractors and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Participate in design review meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns
  • Collaborate with drafters to create detailed drawings related to design

Requirements:

  • Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by a professional board
  • Ability to perform steel structural analysis and design, with working knowledge of 3D structural design analysis software an advantage
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes, local standards, and regulations
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
