At Singapore General Hospital, we are seeking a qualified Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

The Department of Psychiatry is committed to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of geriatric psychiatry. As a Geriatric Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with cognitive and geriatric mental health issues, such as dementia, mild cognitive impairment, mood and anxiety disorders, and delirium.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide acute psychiatric care, supervise junior doctors, and participate in research and teaching. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills, advance your career, and contribute to the growth of our department.

Requirements
  • A basic medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications recognized by the Singapore Medical Council
  • Completed specialty training and eligible for accreditation as a Psychiatry Specialist in Singapore
  • At least 2-3 years of post-specialist registration experience as a Geriatric Psychiatrist, providing clinical care for patients with cognitive and mental health issues
