Instrumentation Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Instrumentation Specialist is responsible for maintaining the instrumentation for all plant operations, including field installations and associated control devices. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance and reliability plans related to instrumentation systems, providing technical support for maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation systems and equipment, as well as investigating instrumentation equipment failures and recommending actions to enhance system and equipment reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering (EIE/ICE)
- 2-3 years of experience in the industry
- Experience in instrument engineering within a manufacturing plant
- Strong knowledge of DCS, transmitters, flowmeters, control/on-off valves, field instruments, and SAP
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
