Job Title:
Platform and System Reliability Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Platform and System Reliability Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performing systems that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and deploy cloud-based infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system reliability and performance improvements.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Analyze system logs and performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance.
  • Implement caching and concurrency improvements to enhance user latency and overall system responsiveness.
  • Eliminate toil by improving local-to-prod parity, secrets management, and spinning up environments with a single command.
Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience building/operating production systems at scale, ideally on Google Cloud or a similar serverless stack.
  • Hands-on fluency with Firebase, Cloud Build, Cloud Run/Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL/Spanner, VPC Service Controls.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or Go for automation, with an eye on maintainability.
  • Demonstrated record of driving observability, on-call, and cost optimization in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in payments, PCI-DSS, or crypto settlement flows is a plus.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
