Risk and compliance are crucial aspects of any organization. They bring together all aspects of regulatory and financial crime risk management to ensure that the business operates in a compliant and sustainable manner.

The team works closely with the business and leverages advanced technology to help navigate complex regulatory landscapes and embed a sustainable approach to compliance risk management. This includes raising the bar and setting leading standards across the industry to safeguard customers and the communities within which the organization operates.

Job Role: Vice President, Financial Crime Advisory

This is an important risk management role that has broad responsibilities for providing oversight and management of all aspects of financial crime risks. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the business remains compliant with local Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations.

  • Hold accountability for managing financial crime risks, including impact analysis of regulatory changes, and driving coordination and execution of various financial crime compliance work streams and assurance.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive the implementation of Group and Local FC policies and GPB Standards, through ongoing advisory while balancing risks and controls.
  • Provide expert inputs in various financial crime compliance/client due diligence work streams and initiatives underway.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will be heavily involved in performing gap analysis on regulatory papers as mentioned, in conjunction with Business. It is expected to work with stakeholders across the organization to achieve this goal.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess a high level of knowledge and skills in key regulatory requirements, including existing requirements, as well as additions and/or changes to MAS626 Notices and Guidelines, Information Papers, Industry Best Practice Papers.
