Air Traffic Management Innovation Specialist

The Air Traffic Management Research Institute focuses on finding innovative solutions to advance air traffic management and catalyze the transformation of ATM systems in the region.

- Assist in the development of the assessment framework for controller workload, communication and coordination efficiency, and decision-making effectiveness when operating under and transitioning from normal and multi-sector planner staffing levels.
- Analyze and optimize users' human factor performance to ensure smooth transition between staffing level and effective use of ATM tools.
We conduct qualitative and quantitative research to collect user feedback by analyzing bio-signal data or questionnaires.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among experts from diverse backgrounds to integrate knowledge.
Publishing in top-tier journals and conferences, mentoring students, and collaborating with industry and academic partners to deliver impactful results.
Requirements- Minimally a Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Domain knowledge in ATM is highly advantageous.
- Strong research contributions, evidenced by publications in SCI Q1 journals and peer-reviewed conferences.
- Proficiency in programming (Python, C++, MATLAB).
- Excellent English communication and writing skills for research work.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
