Financial Market Specialist

Job Description:

The Treasury Group in our Singapore branch is responsible for managing the investment portfolio, overseeing Asset and Liability Management (ALM), and ensuring effective Liquidity Management to support business activities.

  • Manage liquidity position to ensure smooth cash flow operations by executing various money market transactions.
  • Provide loan/deposit rates quotes to internal and external counterparties to support business needs and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Cultivate relationships with money market counterparties, participating in business trips as necessary to strengthen connections and expand the network.
  • Perform KYC due diligence on counterparties to ensure compliance and mitigate risk exposure.
  • Enter transactions accurately into internal systems and support the investment team.
  • Compile reports such as position, markets, and financial reports.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

Min 2 years of experience in the banking sector, specifically in ALM/Liquidity management.

Knowledge of financial markets, particularly in money market products (e.g. Interbank cash trades, Repo and FX).

Professional certification in related fields (optional).
