Job Title: Senior Control Systems Specialist">

As a Senior Control Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing control systems for various industries.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Instrumentation and Control engineering with a strong background in project development and execution.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in design and implementation of control systems, as well as experience in technical writing and documentation.

  • Develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys and field studies to gather data for control system design.
  • Develop and maintain instrument and control documentation, including P&IDs, process data, and equipment data sheets.
  • Interface with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and review vendor designs.

Essential Responsibilities:

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure high-quality engineering deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Plan and schedule instrument and control activities to meet the overall project schedule.
  • Interact with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Supporting Functions:

  • Carry out site surveys, field studies, and reviews as required in full compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and assist with documentation.
  • Support the development of tie-in schedules and shutdown plans for I&C activities.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrument and Control engineering or related field. A minimum of ten years of related experience in project development and engineering is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
