Senior Director, Manufacturing and Head of Excellence

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for formulating and executing manufacturing strategies to drive business growth. The successful candidate will lead all MDS manufacturing plants in Greater Asia, supply chain operations, continuous improvements, and BD Excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with global manufacturing and business goals.
  • Provide leadership to MDS manufacturing plants to achieve key performance metrics, including budget, quality, service, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Validation initiatives to support company-wide continuous improvements.
  • Drive BD Excellence maturity across the region to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture by promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Masters degree preferred (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations)
  • More than 10 years' experience in a leadership role in manufacturing with thorough understanding of manufacturing strategies and tactics.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, plan, analyze, and resolve issues.
