Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, therapists, and other departments.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform patient intake tasks with efficiency and care
  • Prepare equipment and treatment rooms to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Assist patients in various activities such as walking, sitting, and standing, as well as transporting them via wheelchair within the facility
  • Liaise effectively between clients, therapists, and other departments to facilitate smooth communication
  • Document client responses to treatment and update client files accurately
  • Perform basic prescribed treatments as instructed by therapists
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, as well as change linen regularly
  • Carry out administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in office software, such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Express
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities to work harmoniously with colleagues
  • Keen attention to detail and a caring nature to provide empathetic support to patients
  • Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength
  • Able to work long hours and willing to work on public holidays/weekends
