We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining mainframe databases, including administering Db2, performing SQL scripting, and integrating EDP releases.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mainframe data administration, with a strong background in IBM zOS Db2 Administration and finance sector knowledge. You will also need excellent SQL scripting skills, a firm grasp of mainframe operating systems, and the ability to analyze infrastructure and dependency data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate EDP releases according to the EDP release rollout plan

• Perform zOS Db2 SQL Tuning

• Maintain the zOS Db2 housekeeping

• Analyze discovery results and take corresponding actions

• Manage RFC and internally built Db2 database artifacts

• Provide reports and KPIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in mainframe data administration

• Strong background in IBM zOS Db2 Administration and finance sector knowledge

• Excellent SQL scripting skills

• Firm grasp of mainframe operating systems

• Ability to analyze infrastructure and dependency data

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
