Job Title:

Principal/Lead Mainframe Specialist

Job Description:

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in empowering over 4 million members to secure their retirement, healthcare, housing needs and better navigate life's uncertainties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, securing and operating emerging mainframe technologies and processes.


This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to monitor emerging technology trends and recommend the adoption of new technologies/methodologies when appropriate.


The successful candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of z/OS, System/Storage management and tools. Relevant experience in mainframe infrastructure administration specialising in z/OS, CICS, Mainframe network or two or more of the following software or systems is also highly valued.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of z/OS, System/Storage management and tools
  • Relevant experience in mainframe infrastructure administration specialising in z/OS, CICS, Mainframe network
  • Experience in supporting disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Programming experience in REXX is an added advantage
