Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Lead and manage major IT infrastructure and end-user services projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Commercial Management: Achieve profitability and customer satisfaction through astute commercial management, including preparing conceptual forecasts and managing project budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, department heads, and subject matter experts in a multi-tier vendor environment.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulations, including audit requirements in the banking and financial industry.
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring effective project planning and execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leading and managing major IT infrastructure and end-user services projects.
  • Qualifications: Prince2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent, ISEB or APM qualified.
  • Skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, ability to manage and foster relationships with senior leaders and subject matter experts, experience in handling compliance and audit requirements in the banking and financial industry.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Microsoft Applications: Proven experience of Microsoft applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of initiation, change management, risk management, and the principles and practicalities of running projects.
