A highly skilled Futures Trader is sought to spearhead trading operations and optimize risk management strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading Execution: Execute futures trading orders for coal, iron ore, and other bulk commodities with prompt feedback on execution and market changes.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct research, evaluation, and analysis of the futures market based on technical analysis and market conditions.

  • Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profits and minimize risks.

  • Data Analysis: Monitor market dynamics in real-time, build trend models, forecast future market changes, and adjust trading strategies accordingly.

  • Risk Management: Hedge risks in the futures market, monitor volatility, and take timely actions to ensure compliance with established risk control policies.

  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess and analyze trading performance, track KPIs, and provide detailed reports and improvement suggestions.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, business, and operations teams for smooth trade execution and regular updates on trading results.

  • Communication: Liaise with futures exchanges, clearing houses, and other relevant parties for compliance with trading-related regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in futures or commodity trading, preferably in coal, iron ore, or related fields.

  • Familiarity with futures markets, technical analysis tools, and ability to develop and execute trading strategies.

  • Strong market insight and analytical skills with ability to respond quickly to market changes.

  • Familiarity with commodity futures trading and delivery rules, as well as related policies and regulations.

  • Solid risk management capabilities and decision-making under pressure.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant trading software.

  • Possess a relevant certification or degree in finance, economics, or related fields.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
