Market Risk Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Market Risk and Murex testing in a banking environment.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Market Risk Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Market Risk, Murex, and automation testing.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Acting as a Risk Consultant for upgrade projects across IT and the business.
  • Working with different IT teams to deliver system solutions for the business.
  • Building strong relationships with users and stakeholders.
  • Managing tasks and acquiring necessary skills as expected of the role.
  • Being an independent worker who can multitask.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • 3+ years of experience in Market Risk and 5+ years of experience in Murex testing.
  • Good knowledge of VaR, Murex Stress testing, and Automation Testing.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in MRE, ERM, and Market data configuration, Debugging, and development.
  • Hands-on business analysis role to analyze process changes and functional requirements.
  • Team player with good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Mandatory skills description includes good technical background, SQL, Shell Scripting, Python, and Ant Scripts.
