Mechanical Engineer - Data Centre Operations

Maintain a professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders. Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner. Troubleshoot technical issues, providing expert support 24/7.

Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Maintain accurate records of system operations, utilising data analysis tools for informed decision-making.

Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years industry experience or 8 years at Technician level combined with supervisory experience.
  • Experience: Complex automatic control equipment, relay logic, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), building management systems, chillers, chilled water distribution and storage systems, cooling towers, chemical dosing systems.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with clients and contractors. Computer literate, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Team player with excellent coaching skills, previous experience supervising technicians.
