Job Title: BIM Technical Lead

As a seasoned BIM expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Building Information Modeling across our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the implementation of BIM in our design process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related matters throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and coordinate the overall implementation of BIM in the design process, including preparation and integration of final design models.
  • Ensure the BIM Execution Plan is complete, accurate, and effectively followed by all stakeholders.
  • Lead and supervise BIM modellers, ensuring all work aligns with project standards, timelines, and deliverable requirements.
  • Coordinate updates for individual discipline models, specialized models, and associated BIM databases.
  • Generate drawing submission lists in accordance with contract requirements and design scope.
  • Monitor and manage drawing submissions, ensuring timely delivery and regularly updating submission status.
  • Provide technical support and coordination to the project team for design changes, model updates, and issue resolution.
  • Organize and maintain the current versions of BIM models, drawings, and related documentation.
  • Attend and represent the project team in BIM coordination meetings led by the main contractor.
Requirements:
  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modelling and collaboration, certification in BIM modelling and management, proficiency in relevant software and excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Detailed mechanical engineering knowledge with design and experience.
