Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing housekeeping teams, with a focus on quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of the annual operating budget and financial plans for the housekeeping department
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure optimal use of resources
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and manage costs associated with supplies and labor
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and quality
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure housekeeping employees are meeting performance targets
  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, including planning, assigning work, and establishing performance goals
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to housekeeping employees to improve performance and resolve conflicts
  • Educate and train employees on governmental and safety regulations
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through effective communication and coordination with other department heads
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and provide support to housekeeping staff during peak periods
  • Clear staff leave and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Respond to guest complaints and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction
  • Maintain procedures for lost and found items
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department on Preventive Maintenance Management
  • Perform monthly checklists for guest room condition and status
  • Prepare daily room allocation reports for room attendants
  • Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly cleaning checklists
