Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network professional to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, configuring, installing, implementing, and deploying local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless networks, security systems, cloud providers (AWS, Azure), virtual private networks (VPNs), active directories, domain name systems (DNSs), and dynamic host configuration protocols (DHCPs).

This includes:

  • Planning and designing network architecture.
  • Implementing and maintaining network infrastructure.
  • Providing technical advice and proposing solutions to the infrastructure team leader when required.
  • Handling network/systems testing and managing web-based applications infrastructure.
  • Providing technical support on mission-critical systems, both during and after office hours.
  • Performing system administration tasks.
  • Providing end-user support.
  • Participating in regional/global projects.
  • Handling network/systems backup and restore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the infrastructure team.
  • Conduct network/systems testing and manage web-based applications infrastructure.
  • Provide 24/7 technical support for mission-critical systems.
  • Perform system administration duties.
  • Support end-users with their technical queries.
  • Collaborate with the project team to deliver regional/global projects.
  • Ensure data backups and restores are performed efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in a regional role, preferably.
  • Proven operational experience working with LANs, WANs, wireless networks, security systems, cloud providers, VPNs, active directories, DNSs, and DHCPs.
  • Demonstrable experience with managing MS Hyper-Vs, VMWare ESXI, SANs, NASs, Veeam Backup, and tape libraries.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, and CASB technologies is desirable.
  • Industry certifications from Cisco, FortiGate, Microsoft, and AWS are highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of end-users.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team while being independent and proactive.
  • Able to adapt positively to challenging work environments.
  • Willingsness to travel within the ASEAN and India region.
