Job Summary

As a Senior Coordinator, Air Freight Export at DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth handling of shipments and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include caring for cargo, accepting and processing booking orders, and acting as a key contact for allocated customers. You will also be responsible for staying informed on shipment and exception status, proactively informing customers on shipment status, and handling customer enquiries. Additionally, you will build partnerships with customers, respond promptly to their needs, and provide innovative solutions through upselling. If required, you will participate in joint Sales visits and collaborate closely with Export Operations, Freight planning team, and other departments for smooth handling of shipments and continuous updates. To succeed in this role, you will need a Diploma/ Degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience and knowledge in freight forwarding/ logistics industry preferred. You will be required to possess excellent customer service skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in logistics, freight forwarding, freight transportation, air freight, freight, freight management, customer service, and export & logistics.
