Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Psychological Services in a Dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team
The Department of Psychological Medicine at KK Hospital is part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that comprises psychologists, medical social workers, clinical counsellors, occupational therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists. This team serves women with psychological and emotional difficulties, particularly those related to childbearing, motherhood, and women's health issues, as well as children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional difficulties.

Service Delivery Model
Our services are provided with a tiered stepped-care model in mind, ensuring that each patient receives the necessary care and support. We offer a range of services, including intake assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, and mental health education materials.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, providing individual and group therapy sessions, developing care management plans, designing teaching programs, and participating in ad-hoc mental health-related projects.
  • Conducting intake assessments for women, children, and adolescent patients.
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions for women with psychological and emotional difficulties, particularly those related to childbearing, motherhood, and women's health issues.
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions for children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional issues.
  • Developing care management plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and community partners.
  • Designing and conducting teaching programs on mental health education.
  • Participating in ad-hoc mental health-related projects in the hospital and community.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from a recognized university. You must also be eligible for registration with a recognized professional body such as SRP, APA, APS, or BPS. Additionally, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in a second language, and well-developed clinical assessment and formulation skills.
