Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Systems Director to lead our projects from inception to completion.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing mechanical and electrical systems, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves overseeing all aspects of contract execution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of engineers, assistant engineers, and supervisors to design, develop, and implement mechanical and electrical systems;
  • Coodinating with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure project progress;
  • Conducting site visits, attending meetings, and providing daily briefings;
  • Preparing schedules, checking drawings, and monitoring subcontractor progress claims;
  • Performing quality control, ensuring safety regulations are observed, and maintaining accurate records;
  • Participating in testing and commissioning at work sites.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A diploma or degree in mechanical and electrical engineering;
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical and electrical system knowledge;
  • Strong site management, budget control, and supervision skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of M&E installation, architecture, structure, and local construction practices and authorities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and AutoCAD software.
