Job Description

The Community Development Worker plays a pivotal role in driving positive change and enhancing the lives of individuals, families, and communities facing challenging circumstances. This is achieved through a community-focused approach and the delivery of targeted interventions, including social work services, home ownership support, livelihood development, and community mobilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote Code of Social Work Practice
  • Deliver high-quality community-centric casework and counseling services to clients
  • Design and deliver specialist interventions to empower families to achieve poverty transformation
  • Establish and maintain effective programs, including groupwork and community outreach
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work or related disciplines from recognized universities
  • Strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

This role requires a strong belief that people and communities possess intrinsic strengths and resources that can be leveraged for the betterment of family and community life.
